With offices in Berlin, London, New York, and Tokyo, Gestalten produces a lavish range of creative focused books showcasing the work of artists, architects, designers, illustrators and more.

Due to be published this month, 'A Life in Illustration' edited by Robert Klanten and Hendrik Hellige, features an array of contemporary illustrators across 256 pages including Christoph Niemann, Olaf Hajek, Andrea Ventura, Jan Van Der Veken, Liselotte Watkins, Peter Grundy, Jessica Hische, Jan Schwochow, Francesco Franchi, Oliver Jeffers and Jonathan Corum.

"A Life in Illustration is a strikingly personal documentation of what working in various jobs at the intersection of art and creativity, amid personal work, teaching assignments, clients, and 'bread and butter' projects actually feels like," notes Gestalten. "As such, the book is not only inspiring for those already working as illustrators, but also reveals perspectives and hurdles for those considering a professional future in this field."

You can read more about 'A Life in Illustration,' which costs £37.50/€39.90 / $60.00 here.
